Art Direction for a turnip based multiplayer tennis game

Turnip 4 Two is the remake of the classic Tennis for Two Game, now with portals, bouncers and exciting new gameplay.

Play challenging Co-Op levels in casual mode or battle your friends in whacky arena levels!

And if you’re not in the mood for local multiyplayer, play against the AI and see who wins.

This game was developed in 3 days by the Bachelor class 16′  in Game Design  at the Zurich University of Arts in 2017.

For Turnip 4 Two, I worked in the role of the general art director. I established the setting and the mood for the game and created first key visuals. I directed a small team of artists who followed my guidelines, using a defined brush set and color range. I took care of the communication between teams, organized partially the implementation of our visuals and also helped to shape related fields such as the realtime-VFX and UI.
